Indi is growing at Cevisama

29/01/07 - Indi, the series of ancillary events focusing on the world of innovation and design, will have a packed programme at this year edition of Cevisama.
The Indistile international competition devoted to industrial design and technological innovation in the ceramic sector and reserved for students at design and architecture schools will be back, along with Baneo, the competition catering for the bathroom sector with two separate sections devoted to professionals and students.
Indi will also be hosting an international architecture and design forum featuring some of the leading international personalities in these fields.
Atmosferas is the title of Trans - Hitos 2007, the exhibition of ceramic and bathroom furnishings in architecture. The event will create a series of "ceramic atmospheres" designed to engage visitors through installations featuring alternative and innovative uses of ceramic materials, with particular attention to protection of the environment and sustainability. The two acclaimed architects Teresa Sapey and Juli Capella have been invited this year to collaborate with Alicer (design and architecture section of the Instituto de Tecnologìa Ceramica) in setting up the exhibition.

As customary, Cevisama will host the presentation of the Alfas de Oro awards, assigned to companies making significant technological or artistic progress in the field of ceramics or glass.
