80 new companies to take part in Tecnargilla for the first time
According to the latest figures announced by the organisers, the exhibition of technologies and supplies for the ceramic and brick industries will fill all fourteen halls in the exhibition centre. And in view of the large number of applications that are continuing to arrive, it will also be necessary to use the new approximately 13,000 square metre hall.
By mid April about eighty companies had already booked space at Tecnargilla for the first time. Alongside these newcomers, all the leading companies in the sector will naturally be taking part (System, Sacmi, Barbieri & Tarozzi, Tecnoferrari, Nuova Fima, Officina C.M.C., LB Officine Meccaniche, Tecno Italia, Welko, Smac, Cuccolini, Garoll, S.I.T.I., Sertam), some of which have booked more space than at the last show.
The two special sections have been received with great enthusiasm.
Kromatech, devoted to “colour technology, creativity and trends in the ceramic sector”, includes about twenty new exhibitors this year (glaze manufacturers, third fire decorators, graphic and design studios).
This, together with the presence of large stands organised by leading companies in the sector such as Ferro, Torrecid, Itaca-Esmalglass, Smalticeram, Assoprint, Johnson Matthey, Colorobbia, Newton Serigrafica, Ceramco and Cover, has made it necessary to increase the size of the area reserved for the event.
Claytech, the new section being launched in 2004 and devoted to “technology, research and innovation for the brick and tile industry”, has already received bookings from about 60 companies, compared to the 52 sector companies that took part in Tecnargilla in 2002.
These companies will occupy an area of more than 9,000 metres and will be accommodated in the new hall in the Rimini exhibition centre.
The leading international names have already confirmed that they will be taking part, including Ceric, Bedeschi, Piccinini, Capaccioli, Haendle, Lingl, Saex, Verdes and Beralmar.
