Acimac holds meeting on digital ceramic tile technology

The 7th Acimac Annual Meeting on digital ceramic tile glazing and decoration technologies, held on Wednesday 25 November in Teatro Astoria in Fiorano, was attended by more than 400 professionals from the Italian ceramic industry and supply chain.

Organised in partnership with the magazine Ceramic World Review and sponsored byTecnargilla (which hosts the conference in even years), the Acimac Meeting is now one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the Sassuolo ceramic cluster's conference calendar.

The aim of the event is to review the state of the art of a constantly evolving area of technology, which includes machinery and raw materials, glazes, inks and colour management systems, and to discuss potential future developments.

Moderated by Prof. Paolo Zannini from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, the conference featured technical presentations by leading companies in the sector - Projecta Engineering (Siti B&T Group), Sacmi-Intesa, System, Durst, Efi Cretaprint, Colorobbia, Esmalglass-Itaca and Macs Tech - making it a unique opportunity for professionals and experts in the ceramic sector to take stock of the latest technical developments.

The event was concluded by a roundtable discussion devoted to Digital Technology, Creativity and Design which saw the participation of representatives of ceramic design firms and heads of research at ceramic tile companies.
