ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award and ADI Booth Design Award presented at Cersaie
Fiandre, Mosaico+, Stylgraph Styl’Editions and Flaminia were the winners of the first edition of the ADI Booth Design Award.
Cersaie 2019 saw the presentation of the 6th ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award honouring the most innovative Italian ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings and the debut of the ADI Booth Design Award devoted to the stands that most effectively showcased products and conveyed brand value.
The winners of the Ceramics category of the ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award were:
- Corneli with Iride, a system for reusing marble production waste that involves calibrating and reconstituting a block ready for the creation of sustainable new objects, as in the case of the Iride project for recycling antique Carrara marble waste;
- Leonardo with Map Red-Overcome, where digital control of the ceramic body is used to produce slabs with high technical performance coupled with a decorated field tile inspired by a city map;
- Fittile with Fuggo, a product where the grout joint is transformed from a visual discontinuity in the ceramic surface into a decorative wall element in its own right.
A special mention went to Target Fuoriformato for the combined use of digital decoration and pictorial techniques.
Three winners were also chosen in the Bathroom furnishing category: Rubinetterie Treemme with Q30; Albatros with Secret System-Syrada and Modula Pool; Provex with Iunix. A special mention went to R&D Bertocci for the product Officina Bertocci.
The ADI Booth Design Award was presented to Fiandre (Interior category), Mosaico+ (Minimal category), Stylgraph Styl’Editions (Research category) and Flaminia (Show category).
The products chosen during Cersaie 2019 are shortlisted for submission to the ADI Design Index 2020, an annual publication by ADI containing the best of Italian design put into production.
