Ancora Group in Iran, complete end-of-line to Persepolis Tile

A complete continuous engraving and snapping line, with high efficiency and productivity, and strip cutting capacity up to a width of 150 mm, complete with latest generation squaring machine and energy saving single layer rapid dryer, has been started up at Ceramica Persepolis Tile in Iran.

The company, located in Mehriz, in the ceramic district near Yazd, is one of the most important and technologically advanced in the whole of the country, with a production capacity of 12 million square metres of ceramic per year.

To implement production, Persepolis has relied on the experience of Ancora Group which, in this way, further consolidates its presence in Iran: "A complex but extremely interesting commercial area - comments Massimo Proietti, Area Manager of Ancora Group - which we are currently focusing on and which has already performed well".

The high throughput squaring and chamfering line is designed for 600x1200 to 150x1200 formats, faithful to the traditional sturdiness and dependability guaranteed by Ancora Group. Ancora's rapid horizontal dryer uses a particular type of burner with very low consumption and high efficiency to dry the residual humidity after squaring of the single-firing products. It is a machine with eco-friendly characteristics offering high energy saving, up to 40% compared to the same quantity of product dried in a conventional dryer, with significant economic and environmental advantages.
