BAU 2009 unaffected by the crisis

The organisers have described it as the best result in the more than forty years of BAU’s history.
The German building fair held in Munich from 12 to 17 January began the year with confidence: halls fully booked, a good atmosphere and a big dose of optimism.
More than 211,000 industry professionals from 151 countries (including 36,000 from outside Germany) converged on the exhibition centre for the event. Attendance was particularly high on the fourth and fifth days of the show. A total of 1,924 exhibitors from 42 countries took part in an exhibit space of 180,000 square metres.

The next show will be held from 17 to 22 January 2011 in the new Munich Trade Fair Centre.
