BMR appoints new distributor in Turkey
The Italian company BMR (Scandiano, province of Reggio Emilia) has signed a major partnership agreement with the Turkish distributor DPS. The initiative stems from a desire to further consolidate the BMR brand in Turkey, where it is already well known in the local market.
DPS is a young company made up of experienced professionals who have pooled their resources and expertise to create a new and innovative business capable of providing an effective response to the needs of a constantly expanding market.
Located in Istanbul and led by Cem Sokullu, DPS has a sales department with a technical manager who offers after-sales support to Turkish customers 7 days a week.
Through this partnership, BMR – which already operates in the Turkish market with longstanding customers such as Kale, VitrA, Seranit and Kuthaya – has installed new complete end-of-line systems for Akgun Seramik and Ercan Seramik, major ceramic tile producers located in the Istanbul industrial district.
This initiative confirms the solidity of the Italian company, which has been a leader in end-of-line technologies for ceramic tile production for more than 40 years and has now established itself in the Turkish market for its squaring machines and lapping machines with special lightened heads.
Through its new partnership with DPS, BMR intends to promote the new Squadra Dry technology in the Turkish market. This is an innovative dry squaring system for high-quality monoporosa tiles that does not require the use of water, making it unnecessary to dry the tiles at the end of the operation. This eliminates the need for a dryer and the corresponding fuel consumption and makes the process more environmentally friendly.
