BMR in an outstanding partnership with Lasselsberger

BMR has secured an order from Lasselsberger Group, one of the world’s largest players in the building materials and ceramic sector, to supply technologies for the group’s glazed porcelain tile factory in Cluchany (Prague, Czech Republic). The Italian company (based in Scandiano, province of Reggio Emilia), a leader in end-of-line technologies for ceramic tile production, has supplied and installed a squaring line for sizes from 15x15 cm to 60x120 cm and a bypass on the same line with an edging machine for listels and skirting. It is an innovative plant not just in terms of its technology but also for its flexibility, as operator intervention is not required during the cutting and rectification cycle.

This new line follows on from a previous plant installed in 2007 and further strengthens BMR’s relations with one of the world’s largest tile and sanitaryware producers, ranked 15th with a production of 40 million sq.m/year.
