BMR posts 20% growth in first half of 2017
BMR, a leading company in the sector of finishing plants for the ceramic industry, has posted 20% revenue growth in the first half of the year. The Scandiano, Reggio Emilia-based company has supplied numerous squaring, honing and surface treatment lines to the leading companies in the industry both in Italy and abroad.
Demand has been driven in particular by the growing success of large sizes, which has prompted many companies to upgrade their finishing systems to improve and optimise production. Demand in this segment has focused mainly on the Top Squadra Dry squaring machines and the Leviga Plus polishing and honing machines.
A further driver, especially in the Italian market, continues to be Industry 4.0, a revolution for which BMR is fully prepared. The development of Quality Service software, which was already offered as an add-on in recent years, has enabled the entire BMR range to keep pace with the new frontiers of Industry 4.0 (real-time data interconnection, management and analysis). This means it is eligible for the tax incentives available in Italy for innovative technologies.
