BMR reaps the benefits of Italian quality

BMR (Scandiano, province of Reggio Emilia) has reported good results in the first half of 2013, with levels remaining stable with respect to the same period in 2012. It has also won a number of large orders in the domestic market, which has shown its appreciation of the quality of the company's Italian technology. For the ceramic tile producer Ceramica Fondovalle (Torre Maina, Modena) it has installed a rectification line and a new tile honing line. These two installations complement the existing systems and have enabled the company to keep pace with key sector trends and innovate its product range. It has improved its finishing process (especially for large formats) and begun production of honed porcelain tiles while maintaining complete control over finished products.

Another major production facility upgrade was carried through at the new Serenissima Cir Industrie Ceramiche facility in Rubiera, where BMR has supplied a multifunctional rectification line capable of working with both monoporosa and porcelain in sizes up to 1200x1200 mm
