BMR ships polishing machines to Russia
BMR has supplied its polishing lines to two major Russian ceramic companies: Grasaro, a porcelain tile manufacturer owned by Samarsky Stroyfarfor Group, and firm ZKS based in Snezhinsk near Yekaterinburg.
For Grasaro, BMR installed a polishing line consisting of a calibrator with 9 work points made up of a combination of oscillating rollers and satellite heads, a 14-head honing machine, an 18-head polishing machine and a squaring/chamfering machine.
For ZKS it supplied two honing lines connected with a cutting line for size reduction and squaring.
Each of the two honing lines consists of a calibrating machine with 8 roller/satellite head work points, a 20-head honing machine and a 20-head polishing machine.
For more than 40 years BMR has been an Italian leader in end-of-line technologies for ceramic tile production and with these latest installations is now consolidating its presence in the Russian market.
