BMR in Turkey
The Turkish market is showing strong signs of recovery, enabling BMR - a leader in the tile squaring, polishing and lapping sector - to secure major supply contracts. Kalebodur has started up a polishing line for its product Sinterflex, the slim 5 mm sheet produced in a 660x3000 mm size, while in April Sogutsenseramik installed a 7-motor squaring machine for sizes up to 600x900 mm.
The VitrA group has purchased a lapping machine for its Turkish factory and a complete squaring line for the facility that will shortly be opened in Russia. Last but not least, Akgun has signed a contract for the installation of an unglazed porcelain tile squaring line that will begin production in August.
