BMR wins major orders in the USA
Florim USA and StonePeak choose BMR technology for their plants in Tennessee.
Scandiano, Italy-based company BMR has strengthened its position in the US market by securing major orders from the Tennessee production units owned by two major Italian ceramic manufacturing groups. In the Florim USA plant in Clarksville, BMR has installed a LevigaPlus full-field lapping line with Supershine anti-stain treatment along with a Dry Cut and Top Squadra Dry cutting and squaring line, recently expanded with the addition of a second identical line.
Crossville-based company StonePeak Ceramics (Iris Ceramiche Group) has also chosen BMR technology in an order consisting of two squaring lines and one lapping line with a treatment island for 1600×3200 mm sizes for its brand-new slab and panel production facility.
BMR USA was opened in 2017 in Crossville. As well as providing a wide range of spare parts, the branch has also expanded the range of services it offers local companies by opening a workshop for reconditioning squaring spindles and lapping spindles.
