Carabobo upgrades with Nuova Era

Twenty years since it supplied the first (and still operational) plant, in May this year Nuova Era received another major order from the Venezuelan ceramic company Carabobo. It consists of an automated system specially designed for highly flexible handling of porcelain tile in sizes ranging from 30x30 cm to 60x60 cm at the kiln entrance and exit. One existing plant was equipped with a Roboteck machine for unloading fired tiles, complete with 55-shelf boxes and storage unit; and two Robofloor units on platforms with equipped connection lines, tables and retracting bends that serve to connect the dryers to the glazing machines.

A second plant installed in a new factory consists of a 100 metre glazing line complete with electrical system, accessories and storage units for unfired product; three Robofloor units for loading and unloading platforms; two Roboteck units for loading and unloading complete boxes; and all necessary connections between the five-channel dryers and glazing machines.
