Champion installs a second digital printer from Intesa
Intesa has scored a major success in the Taiwanese market with a contract from the company Champion Building Material to supply a second Colora HD digital printer. The order follows on from a previous installation of a printer for decorating 300x600 mm and 600x600 mm porcelain tiles completed in the summer of 2010. The new Colora HD model 1406 will be operational as of May 2012 and will be capable of producing tiles in sizes up to 1200x1200 mm using 6 different colours.
Champion group is a leading player in the international ceramic industry with a current 30% share of the Taiwanese market and exports to numerous countries including the United States, South Korea, Japan, Australia and Europe. Founded in 1972, it operates in its historic facilities in Miaoli as well as two different factories in China.
