CICEE reports good 2019 results
The Chinese ceramic technology exhibition held in Foshan from 30 May to 2 June was attended by more than 70,000 visitors.
The second edition of the international ceramic equipment and materials exhibition CICEE was held from 30 May to 2 June in the brand new Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Foshan.
An important showcase for both Chinese and international players, the exhibition was held in five halls extending over a total space of 50,000 sq.m.
More than 200 exhibitor companies took part, including a strong presence of Italian brands coordinated by Acimac who occupied an entire 10,000 sq.m hall. Attendance also grew significantly compared to the first edition, with a total of 71,313 professional visitors, including 15.6% non-Chinese visitors from 36 countries, most notably Vietnam, India, Italy, Indonesia, Thailand, Russia, Turkey and Spain. During the four days of the show, CICEE organised around thirty events, which were covered by almost a hundred local media organisations.
The show marks the second success of the year for the organisers Foshan Zhongtao Alliance. In April, the same Foshan exhibition centre hosted the international ceramic and bathroom exhibition CICPE 2019 which saw the participation of around 300 companies and 83,000 professional visitors (including 5.3% non-Chinese) consisting of distributors, real-estate buyers and designers.
Both CICPE and CICEE have benefited from the support of the Foshan city council and of the sector’s main trade associations.
