Commercial partnership between Plastorgomma Service and Rankin USA
Plastorgomma Service, a company based in Rubiera, Italy which has been supplying industrial components (power transmissions, pneumatic systems, industrial piping and parts for the ceramic industry) since 1969, has signed a commercial partnership agreement with Rankin USA, a company specialising in industrial components in the United States. The agreement between the owners of the two companies, Claudio Zambelli and Todd Purvis, was finalised at Tecnargilla 2016.
Plastorgomma Service is already a partner of the leading ceramic groups present in the United States and in particular has been collaborating for a number of years with Rankin USA, which is strategically located in North Carolina close to the US Ceramic Valley. Rankin USA has been a leading supplier to US ceramic manufacturers for more than 25 years thanks to its stock of ready-to-deliver products, its strong focus on logistics and its constant local presence.
By combining its peculiar technical know-how, typical of the Sassuolo ceramic tile district, with the commercial experience of Rankin USA, Plastorgomma Service will be able to deliver a wide range of products through a more efficient and high added-value supply chain and guarantee a rapid service. Regular shipments by sea from Italy will keep US partners supplied with products at the most favourable commercial conditions, thereby enabling local customers to optimise their warehouse stock management. Although the ceramic industry will remain one of the core sectors for the two companies, the partnership will also focus on differentiation, new product development and customised solutions.
