Coverings 2007 ribbon-cutting ceremony

18/04/07 - Coverings, the international tile and stone exhibition, was officially opened yesterday, 17 April.

The opening ceremony was attended by numerous Italian institutional figures, including the President of the Province of Modena Emilio Sabattini, the Mayors of Sassuolo and Fiorano Graziano Pattuzzi and Claudio Pistoni, and the Modena provincial officer for mobility and transport Egidio Pagani.

The representatives of the Modenese institutions together with vice Chairman of Confindustria Ceramica for Promotional Activities and Trade Shows Enzo Mularoni and the Association’s Director General Franco Vantaggi were welcomed by Chicago’s Mayor Richard Daley, who spoke of the prestige of the event and its positive economic effects and benefits for the city.
