Drycut, green-oriented engraving by BMR
BMR, the Italian company, leader in end of line technologies, presented Drycut, a new low environmental impact machine for reducing the size of the ceramic tiles to listellos. Evolution of the Cut Crash model, Drycut makes the surface of the ceramic tile suitable for engraving thanks to the creation of a pre-cut groove made by a diamond dry cutting disc.
The pre-cut groove and the subsequent engraving are performed in rapid succession while the ceramic tile transits on a continuously moving belt that ends in the fracture unit. The Drycut technology can also be applied to very durable materials with complex and structured surfaces.
