Durst: 6 new Gamma systems in Italy

Cooperativa Ceramica d'Imola, Novabell, Gruppo Beta, Tagina, Pastorelli and Del Conca: six companies that have installed the latest Durst Gamma systems (Gamma series 75 "N"), equipped with the exclusive ink feeding system, between the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014. These new installations confirm the trend in the ceramics market towards large-format applications (indeed, three of the new systems purchased are the model Gamma 120 HD-RS used for the digital decoration of ceramic tiles of 100x150 cm format). They also increase the number of printers installed in Italy, where the company holds an overall market share of more than 40%, to a grand total of 120. These results, together with those related to the success of the range on the international market, with over 400 systems installed worldwide, confirm the leadership of the company from Alto Adige in the digital printing field, where Durst has played a capital role in the digitalisation of printing processes since 2005, by constantly investing in research and development.

The R&D department is currently engaged in an important phase of development involving new technologies for the ceramics industry. Systems with the latest advanced components, which are currently being patented, are just a little taste of the revolutionary changes to come, thanks to the innovative concept of "synchronised digital glazing".
