Durst conquers the Indian ceramic market

The presence of Durst, well-known manufacturer of printers for digital decoration of tiles, continues to grow in the Indian market, which in recent years has increased the demand for high quality products and maximum customisation. Thanks to the collaboration with Ceradecor, Durst partners for distribution at local level, over 30 Gamma systems have been installed in ceramic companies in New Delhi, Ahmedabad and Morbi since 2012, year in which the Bressanone-based company made its official debut on the Indian market.

"India is an extremely dynamic market" - asserts Christian Harder, Global Sales Manager of Durst Phototechnik. "No other market has revealed such rapid development. Durst is already present in India with 10 local technicians and an expert service manager to provide 24/7 customer assistance. The Indian ceramic industry places great trust in inkjet technologies, as evidenced by the choices made by industry leader Kajaria Ceramics, which has already installed several Gamma systems and, in order to maintain its competitive advantage, will continue to invest in the latest Gamma N series digital printers".

This year the Italian company has once again taken part in Indian Ceramics (Ahmedabad, 26-28 February), the most important event of the Indian ceramics industry, where it unveiled the Gamma 75 HD-R that, with its 90 m/h speed of linear production, is currently the fastest ceramic digital printer. Particular attention went to the new Gamma N Series range with models Gamma 75 HD-NR and Gamma 75 HD-NRS, that feature an exclusive ink supply system that offers significant cost advantages with the highest print and decoration quality.
