The events at Coverings 2005

29/04/05 - Coverings, due to open on 3 May, will feature a wider range of events than ever before.
The show’s management company, National Trade Productions, has considerably expanded the programme of special events, conferences and seminars.
Educational sessions have been organised for each of the main categories of visitors (architects, designers, distributors, installers) and for exhibitors, including a series of free workshops for tile installers.

One of the most interesting is the conference on 4 May entitled “Exterior Cladding with Porcelain Ceramic Tiles - Green Materials for Green Architecture”, at which Arturo Mastelli (AM & A Marketing and TBD) will discuss the technical aspects of ceramic tiles in their various applications, in particular in exterior cladding, with a focus on energy saving and environmental sustainability. On 5 May, Donato Grosser (D.Grosser and Associates, Ltd.) will give a conference entitled “The US Economy, the Dollar, and the Ever-Changing Channels of Distribution”, which will analyse tile distribution flows from the producer to the consumer.

Last but not least, the Assopiastrelle – Ceramic Tiles of Italy and the Tile Council of North America press conferences are scheduled respectively for 3 and 4 May.
