Facemag starts up fourth production line

Casablanca-based company Facemag, one of Morocco's leading ceramic tile manufacturers, has commissioned a new line from Sacmi with the aim of boosting daily output of floor and red body wall tiles to 50,000 square metres.

The new line, the fourth supplied by Sacmi, consists of three PH 3020 presses, three EVA 983 vertical driers, four glazing lines and a 100-metre long twin-channel FBN kiln equipped with cutting-edge XTR heat recovery systems. Sacmi has also supplied two handling and storage systems and two sorting lines with 10 stackers produced by Nuova Fima, the group company specialising in quality control and end-of-line solutions.

This latest order further strengthens Sacmi's position as the leading supplier of machines and technology to the Moroccan ceramic tile industry.
