Fritta, the pioneer of smart ceramics, gains recognition from CEC
Fritta was one of the local companies honoured this year by the CEC (Castellón Employers' Confederation) for its 40 years of operations at the service of ceramic tile innovation.
Founded in Vila-real in 1973, the company produces frits, glazes, digital printing inks and ceramic colours at its facilities in Onda and at the production units set up in a number of other countries over the years. The Spanish multinational's extensive network of branches in Italy, Portugal, Vietnam, Mexico, Russia and China support local customers and guarantee flexible and rapid deliveries and technical and sales support.
The company aims to offer a customer service that adapts to the specific needs of ceramic companies and markets and to develop new products that keep pace with technological innovation and new manufacturing trends. For this purpose it can count on the technology and professionalism of its R&D laboratory. In particular, the group has developed highly innovative products for tiles with special functions such as improved energy efficiency of surfaces exposed to sunlight and heat.
Fritta has ISO 9001:2008 certification and is strongly committed to environmental sustainability, for which purpose it has obtained UNI-EN-ISO I4001:2004 certification. It is also attentive to the health and safety of its employees and maintains a constant commitment to customers, employees, society and the environment.
