GMM celebrates fortieth anniversary
GMM Trasmissioni Meccaniche will be celebrating forty years of business at an open day next September. Set up in 1973 by Attilio Milani, the company has a warehouse with 80,000 items and is an important point of reference for the whole of the Emilia-Romagna region in the distribution of components for mechanics, motors, reduction gears, bearings, linear motion systems and articles for ceramics. The company distributes leading brands including SKF bearings, Timken, Festo Pneumatica, THK linear motion systems and Nadella. It has a workforce of 40 people and reported a 2012 turnover of 12.5 million euro, in line with the figure for 2011.
In forty years of business, GMM has evolved constantly, adapting to changes in the market by investing in human resources and pre and after sales service.
