Imerys Ceramics: the latest innovation at Indian Ceramics

The latest innovation from Imerys' Nadiad platform is the successful launch of Certiwhite^TM, a range of ball clays for tile engobes, specially designed to meet the needs of Indian tile manufacturers for  whiteness and plasticity. Industrial tests were successfully carried at Vitra Granito Morbi. Suitable for floor tiles and top body for double charge vitrified tiles, Certiwhite^TM and Certiwhite Plus^TM will contribute to improved design possibilities. These new additions extend the portfolio of Imerys Ceramics' quality products like Kaolinor 1C, Kerbrient, Imerys CR, kaolin references  appreciated by tile industries worldwide to obtain the best ever surface for digital printing. Suitable for GVT, wall and floor tiles, these kaolins give a defect free smooth surface.

The stand featured Imerys Ceramics India's operations and its range of mineral solutions for the ceramic industries.  On display were ball clays and china clay products as well as finished products lent by customers.

For tile industries, Imerys Ceramics has also developed other innovative solutions, including, Zirex-T^TM, a zirconium silicate part substitute and RE399, a white firing ball clay.

For sanitaryware industries, Imerys Ceramics India has introduced ball clays and china clays that increase casting rate, surface whiteness and reduce production rejection at substantial levels.

For electrical porcelain industries, Imerys Ceramics presented special blended clays for LT & MT segments from its Nadiad Gujarat R & D centre.  Ravikaran, one of India's top ten producers of HT & LT porcelain insulators and technical ceramics lent a Imerys Ceramics one of their hollow insulators to display on their stand.

For tableware industries, Imerys Ceramics showed its range of clays for bone china, including Premium, the highest white china clay in the world providing higher translucency.
