Increase in international visitors at Cersaie 2011

The 29th international ceramic tile and bathroom furnishing exhibition Cersaie came to an end on 24 September in Bologna.

The floor space was fully occupied by 965 exhibitors (265 non-Italian companies) from 31 countries. Attendance totalled 81,552 (counting only the first entry), 2% down on the 83,286 of 2010, with a shift towards international visitors compared to Italians. Specifically, international attendance rose by 3.8% from 43,939 to 45,616, while the number of Italian visitors dropped by almost 900 (-1.4%) to a total of 64,132. There was also an increase in the number of professional visitors (+5%).

The number of “actual admissions” to the 2011 event was 113,165, up 0.8% from last year’s figure of 112,292.

Cersaie will be back from 25 to 29 September 2012, again in Bologna.
