Inter Ser and Weflex sign agreement for Central and South America

Inter Ser, a company that sells machinery and spare parts for the ceramic industry, and Weflex, which specialises in technological solutions for optimising warehouse logistics processes, have signed a partnership agreement for the Central and South American market.

Inter Ser already counts the region’s top ceramic tile manufacturers amongst its customers and will distribute the I.Tile system from Weflex for logistic management of finished product pallets.

This innovative integrated warehouse control system was designed and developed specifically for the ceramic industry and for solving the problems that typically arise in the sector.

Connected to the ERP system, I.Tile controls and optimises post-production operating processes, making intelligent, real-time use of all available resources. By controlling pallet positioning with RTLS track-and-trace technology, all operations are performed automatically, eliminating potential errors caused by manual operations. I.Tile has been adopted by numerous Italian and non-Italian ceramic companies and has demonstrated a rapid return on investments.

At Tecnargilla 2016, Weflex will be hosted at the Inter Ser stand where it will showcase its warehouse control and management system.
