Inter Ser to introduce new products at Tecnargilla

Inter Ser (Vercelli, Italy) has reported strong results in new and established markets, closing the first half of 2012 with 25% growth on 2011. This excellent performance confirms the growth trend already reported in the first quarter of the year. The company has pursued various strategies to achieve these results. While seeking new sales outlets, it has constantly appraised potential partners for collaboration and sharing of know-how and potential with a view to fostering growth and innovation. It has also made significant technological innovations. At Tecnargilla (Hall D3, stand 072), Inter Ser will be showcasing new applications to complement digital technology. These include Poseidone, an innovative system that combines the high quality of curtain coater type glazing machines with the characteristics of operational flexibility, simplicity of management and reliability, as well as suitable electronic instrumentation. The system uses the Maciste pump for glaze batching.

Poseidone allows for optimal application of glazes with a wide range of viscosities and densities prior to digital decoration. The company will also be exhibiting a cooling system for tiles and a roller turning device for large sizes. Its core business, that of supplying a wide range of original, high-quality spare parts for the ceramic industry, will also be well represented. This activity accounts for 85% of the company's total turnover. New products include a sorting line belt with a special red coloured anti-wear coating that ensures a 3 to 5 times longer lifetime than conventional belts and allows the user to limit machine stoppage times and cut down on the high maintenance costs for piece replacements.
