Intesa expands and makes investments

Intesa, a company belonging to Sacmi Group that specialises in the production of digital decoration systems, is continuing its growth and consolidation, closing 2011 with a turnover of around 20 million euro. To improve its customer service, the company is moving to its new site in Spezzano, an approximately 4,000 sq.m covered area which houses not only the sales, technical and administration facilities but also a large showroom, an R&D laboratory, a training area and the Intesa Imaging graphic design division, which provides support to ceramic companies in developing their graphic design projects.

First set up in 2009, in just over two years Intesa has become a world reference point for the development of digital decoration technologies. Thanks to collaboration with Sacmi, the company has achieved excellent results, supplying high quality and reliable machinery and systems such as the Colora HD printer and Crono colour management software. The Colora HD printer, available in 5 different models, delivers the reliability and flexibility required by ceramic producers and is also suitable for the production of large formats. The HD 1406 and HD 1706 versions allow for a printing width of respectively 1,390 mm and 1,675 mm.

Crono is particularly popular amongst ceramic producers, glaze and colour producers and graphic design firms due to the advantages it offers at all stages, from the digital file through to printing
