Investing in China: an analysis at Tecnargilla
The investment potential offered by the historic Chinese ceramic manufacturing region of Foshan will be at the centre of debate in the first appointment on the conference programme of Tecnargilla 2010, the world’s foremost exhibition of supplies for the ceramic and brick industries to be held in Rimini from 27 September to 1 October.
The conference entitled “Investing in China: current situation and future prospects” will be held on the afternoon of the opening day with the aim of exploring the opportunities for investment in the Foshan region in the light of the political, economic and business climate.
Starting at 2.30 p.m. in the Diotallevi conference room, Paolo Lemma, director of the Italian Trade Commission Guangzhou’s office, and Wu Kuijun, head of the economic promotion committee of the Foshan Chancheng district, will discuss the investment environment in China. Next, Li Linxiliang, lawyer and director of the Chinese magazine Ceramic Town Weekly, will provide an overview of intellectual property rights in the Chinese ceramic industry, one of the most topical issues in industrial relations with China.
This will be followed by reports on Italian companies that have successfully invested in China and Chinese companies that use Italian technology.
