Italian ceramic machinery sets off for Ceramics China
Italian ceramic technology will once again be in the spotlight from 29 May to 1 June in Guangzhou for the 27th Ceramics China, the sector's most important exhibition in Asia. A major showcase for international businesses, the event will extend over an 80,000 square metre area in the Canton Fair Complex, where the Italian ceramic machinery and equipment producers will be hosted in a joint pavilion coordinated by Acimac and the Italian Trade Commission ICE. The Italian delegation will include leading companies such as Air Power, Bongioanni, BMR, Capaccioli, CMF Technology, Colorobbia - Industrie Bitossi, LB, Manfredini & Schianchi, Setec, Siti-B&T Group, System and Tecnoferrari. Other companies will be taking part outside the joint pavilion, including Sacmi Group, Intesa, Smaltochimica, SRS, Tecnografica, Mectiles, Plastorgomma, Lamberti, Sibelco, Vetriceramici and Inkside.
At the Acimac stand visitors will be able to pick up the special Chinese issue of the magazine Ceramic World Review with its extensive coverage of new digital tile decoration technologies, a topic that is in the spotlight at this edition of Ceramics China.
Alongside the latest-generation technologies, the Italian presence at the exhibition will also be marked by two outstanding initiatives organised by Acimac and ICE on the first day of the show, 29 May. At 2.30 in the afternoon there will be a seminar on the theme of digital decoration, where Intesa (Gruppo Sacmi), Siti B&T Group-Projecta, Durst e Tecnoferrari, will give detailed presentations discussing the development of the technology. Then at 7.30 in the evening, the Foshan New Media Park will host the Italian Design and Technology Night, a convivial event where Chinese ceramic producers will have a chance to enjoy Italian taste, flavours and design.
