Italian ceramic technology sets its sights on Ceramics China

Following highly successful participation in the exhibitions Revestir (Brazil), Batimat (Russia) and Coverings (USA) held in the period from March to May 2018, Italian ceramic technology is now setting off for the largest Asian trade fair Ceramics China, which will be held in Guangzhou from 30 May to 2 June.

At the Canton Fair Complex the companies are ready to present their cutting-edge solutions for making production processes more flexible, efficient, cost-effective and integrated in keeping with the smart factory models.

Italian companies will make up the largest contingent of foreign exhibitors, many of whom will be accommodated in the Italian pavilion organised by Acimac. An area of more than 1,000 sq.m will host companies of the calibre of Air Power, BMR, Cielle, CMF, Fraccaroli&Balzan, Gape Due, Leik, Manfredini&Schianchi, Martinelli Ema-Cer, Mectiles Italia, Poppi Clementino, Sacmi, SITI B&T, Smac, Solar Turbines and Tekmak.

The Acimac institutional stand in Hall 3.1 will also be distributing the special Chinese issue of the magazine Ceramic World Review, which gives plenty of coverage to new technologies for large-size panels and slabs, a theme that is in the spotlight at this edition of Ceramics China.

One of the most important new features of the show is the 400 sq.m exhibition entitled Ceramic Age@Ceramic China, coordinated by Acimac and the exhibition management company CCPITBM and designed by Milan-based architecture firm Azzolini-Tinuper, focusing on large-size panels and slabs produced using cutting-edge Italian technology. The exhibition will display products from Sacmi, Colorobbia, Esmalglass Itaca, Stylgraph, Tecnoferrari and Tecnografica and will provide an overview of the latest trends in materials and aesthetics for the ceramic industry, a field in which colour plays a vital role in creating sophisticated design effects.

The Chinese market’s keen interest in Italian ceramic technologies makes the show a particularly attractive event for producer companies. According to initial estimates published by the Acimac Research Department, the China, Hong Kong and Taiwan region remained one of the most dynamic outlet markets for Italian technologies in 2017.
