Kale Group entrusts exports to Kale Italia

Relations between Kale Italia and the Turkish parent company Kale Group continue to grow.

Starting 2014, the commercial management of Kale Italia was appointed to manage the Group's entire export, with exception of the areas in the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, which remain under the management of the head office for reasons of geographical proximity.

"This is an enormous opportunity for the commercial management of Kale Italia" - says Paolo Cavallacci, general manager of Kale Italia - "we are now in charge of flows of ceramic tiles reserved for North Europe, North and South America and the Far East. The entire traffic flow will be managed from the hub in Sassuolo, Italy".

The colossus of Bosphorus has ensured close coordination with the Italian branch, whose managerial staff was accompanied by Mr. Melike Kalafat for marketing and logistics management and by Mr. Kaan Aktolung, CFO for management of Italy-Turkey administrative relations.

In 2013, Kale Italia restructured its board of directors as states Cavallacci: "We inaugurated a new area known as the Key account & Contract division, directed by Roberto Sprocati. We will now have a specialised and professional internal structure dedicated to design, able to assist and support professionals in the use of ceramic materials with the aim to exploit the infinite potential of the Kale range".

Also fully satisfied is Leonardo De Muro, Kale Italia commercial manager, who states that this new position represents "an important acknowledgement for Italian management capabilities and for our distribution and commercial competencies world-over".

These innovations fit into a broader Kale Group project of growth and valorisation of the Italian branch. As confirmation of the strategic and managerial choices made by the Turkish multinational, 2013 ended in a positive note. Kale Italia sales were up 25% and 2014 objectives are even more ambitious: thanks to its commercial re-structuring, Kale Italia expects growth as in 2013, while the brands Kalebodur and Canakkale Seramik aim to reach a world market share of about 80%, in net growth to current levels
