Kanjiza invests in Sacmi technology

With the aim of further improving and expanding its product range, the Serbian tile producer Kanjiza (output of 3 million sq.m per year and a market share of 25%) has installed a new Colora HD2 706 digital decorating machine from Intesa capable of reproducing any design at a maximum speed of 48 m/min.

Equipped with 4 colour bars, each with 7 printheads, Colora HD2 is also the ideal solution for large sizes and complex designs. Designed to handle sizes up to 400x400 mm, the machine has been in operation since March and completes one of the company's two single-fired tile production lines, which is now capable of producing 1.5 million square metres of 400x400 mm and 300x300 mm size tiles a year.

Another component of the supply package is Crono, the innovative colour management system developed by Intesa's Imaging Division and currently the most comprehensive solution on the market for colour management in ceramic sector digital printing processes. Designed to be integrated with the Intesa Colora HD2 digital decorating machine and the Colorscan plotter, the Crono brings a high degree of autonomy and flexibility to the manufacturing process. Kanjiza's newly launched products were very well received at the latest edition of the Belgrade building show held in April, where the company won 1st prize in the "best new product" category.
