Kerafrit reports 17% turnover growth in 2014
Kerafrit, the Spanish glaze and colour producer founded in Nules (Castellón) in 1997, closed 2014 with 17% year-on-year sales growth to more than 21 million euros.
This result, which exceeded the projections made last summer by managing director Alfredo Gonzalez, is attributable to the intense technological efforts and major R&D investments made during the year, the growth in the company's customer base and the support provided by the new owner (a leading North African ceramic group which took over the company in late 2013).
Kerafrit aims to continue in this direction in 2015 with a further increase in turnover to 23 million euros. It is seeing a steady increase in exports, which already make up more than 70% of sales and are aimed mainly at the European, North African, Latin American and Middle Eastern markets, as well as a number of countries in Southeast Asia.
Kerafrit's key strengths include its comprehensive service, high product quality, a constant supply of new materials and customised support based on efficiency, speed and manufacturing flexibility.
