LB supplies CROMA system for porcelain tile production to Marazzi Group

Marazzi Group, the world-leading manufacturer of ceramic and porcelain floor and wall tiles for interiors and exteriors, has continued its technological partnership with LB Officine Meccaniche with an order for a new cutting-edge CROMA press feeding system for the Marlit facility in Sassuolo. The equipment will be delivered in September.
Available in a range of models for use with any kind of press, CROMA is a multi-layer feeder designed to meet the needs of porcelain tile producers and incorporating technical solutions that combine outstanding aesthetics with high productivity. The innovative powder management system designed and patented by LB is capable of producing a wide range of products using a variety of materials such as spray-dried powder, micronized powder, flakes, granules and glaze. The system’s ability to batch powders with a high degree of precision on the tile surface ensures the highest aesthetic quality while optimising both the quantities of material used and the production speed.
