LB wins new contracts in the Italian market

LB Officine Meccaniche has secured major new contracts in Italy, consolidating its position in the domestic market. One of these is an agreement with Ceramiche Marazzi to supply the tile manufacturer's Sassuolo facility with a second latest-generation Croma machine (the first was delivered in 2009), equipped with the Multi-Roll 245 feeder for the production of a new line of micronized products.

The relationship between the two companies has continued for several years and has already resulted in the supply of four Technological Towers and an Easy Color System dry colouring line to the Marlit factory in Sassuolo. Four Easy Color System dry colouring lines for ceramic bodies were also started up recently at the Gresmalt group's facility in Iano (Reggio Emilia). At the heart of the process lies the "GRC 601" continuous operation colouring unit, a state-of-the-art system for effective homogenisation of dry coloured bodies. The Gresmalt group has been successfully producing ceramic tiles for forty years and uses the most modern technologies for an annual production of around 11 million square metres.
