Total attendance of 253,533 with increase in international visitors.
The fourth Made Expo, the building, architecture and design exhibition held from 5 to 8 October in the Rho Milan exhibition centre, has ended with strong results. The 1,950 exhibitors, hosted in a floor space of more than 96,000 square metres, expressed their satisfaction with the large numbers of high-quality industry professionals in attendance and the good business opportunities that were created.
The exhibition was attended by 253,533 visitors (+4.7%), including 31,905 international attendees (+34%). There was particularly strong growth in numbers of visitors from outside the EU, including +58% from the Americas, +14% from Asia, +28% from Russia and +19% from Africa, while European attendance remained substantially stable. Visitors expressed unanimous approval of the high levels of innovation and research on display, both on the stands and at the cultural and technical initiatives.
Next year’s show will be held from 17 to 20 October 2012.
