Major agreement between Inter Ser and Fimo
Fimo has appointed Inter Ser as the exclusive distributor of its ENEA coolers.
Inter Ser, a Vercelli-based company specialising in the international distribution of original spare parts and ceramic machinery, has signed a major agreement with Fimo of Sassuolo, a leader in the press cooling systems sector for over 30 years. As of today, ENEA coolers produced by Fimo will be marketed exclusively by Inter Ser in numerous countries, including the whole of South America and most Asian nations.
When the ENEA system was introduced in the 1980s, the ceramic industry opted for air cooling in order to be independent from a water supply. The continuous trend towards larger sizes led to the development of increasingly powerful hydraulic presses and the search for higher performance cooling systems. The system evolved firstly with the introduction of ENEAplus in the 1990s and subsequently ENEAgreen, a variable-ventilation system that achieved greater efficiency while reducing energy consumption. Recent attempts to rethink the production process in terms of digitalisation have led to the launch of ENEAgreen 4.0.
“By investing in Industry 4.0 technology, we have built the most innovative oil cooling system on the market today,” explains Luca Tassi of Fimo, noting that the Italian ceramic industry has shown itself to be particularly interested in the technological innovation and energy savings offered by the system. “The agreement with Inter Ser completes this project, as we now need to begin selling ENEAgreen in equally important foreign markets.”
“We are strengthening our more than 20-year partnership with FIMO, which has brought very satisfactory results for both companies,” says Inter Ser’s CEO Gian Luca Zanoni. “We are very pleased with this agreement, which enables us to offer our customers the most innovative and high-performance system available on the market.”
