Manfredini & Schianchi supplies dry technology to Iran

Golceram Tile Company, one of Iran's top ceramic tile manufacturers, has installed a dry preparation plant for the production of red body single fired tiles supplied by Manfredini & Schianchi. The line will fully exploit M&S Dry-Tech technology. Primary milling will be performed by a Pig-Hd hammer mill, which in turn will feed a Molomax 6/230-AIR pendular mill to deliver an output of over 30 t/h of extremely high quality ceramic body. This body will be agglomerated by two Forgia MS38 granulators, feeding two lines with an output of 35,000 sq.m/day. All the presses will be equipped with Manfredini & Schianchi rotating sieves (a patented technology) to guarantee optimum homogenisation and loading of material at the press. Here too the ceramic body composition derives from research carried out by the M&S technological laboratory. The financial savings made by choosing dry technology from the historic Sassuolo-based company will allow for an estimated payback time of one year while carrying out production with zero environmental impact.
