Marpak OMS Group supplies custom packaging system to Ceramica Fondovalle

As part of a major investment programme, Ceramica Fondovalle has commissioned Marpak OMS Group to supply a pallet packaging plant for installation at the new processing centre currently under construction in Ubersetto, near Fiorano Modenese.

The company led by Maurizio Baraldi will use the centre for finishing, packaging and storing ceramic panels in sizes from 800x1200 cm to 1700x3600 cm.

To ensure safe and durable packaging, Marpak has designed a cutting-edge solution consisting of a loading island, a horizontal and vertical strapping zone, two wrapping systems and a new heat-shrink oven.

Depending on their dimensions, products will be packaged on Euro pallets with fixed type boxes and racks.
