New EFI Cretaprint Ecosystem solutions unveiled at Tecnargilla
EFI unveiled numerous digital printing solutions at Tecnargilla in Rimini. In the printer segment, it showcased the new EFI Cretaprint D4 printer with up to 12 print bars for an entire range of inks and digital effects.
It also displayed the updated version of the EFI Cretaprint C4, equipped with the recently-released XAAR 2001 printheads (with 2,000 nozzles per printhead) capable of applying high-coverage colours and special effects with a resolution of 720 dpi at speeds of 50 m/min.
Another showcased solution was the Cretaprint M4-SOL, the most widely sold model in the SOL range available in various widths from 700 to 1800 mm. Designed for inkjet printing of soluble salts, it is particularly suitable for decorating polished and honed porcelain tiles. EFI also displayed Cretaprint X4, the company’s innovative, award-winning technology for decorating large-format panels. For the first time in the ceramic sector, the company unveiled its UV EFI H1625 LED UV-curing inkjet printer (width 1.65 metres), suitable for one-off or short-run prints with a high level of photorealism.
The other two components of the EFI Ecosystem were also showcased at Tecnargilla: the Genuine EFI Cretacolor Inks range expanded with the addition of a new Green ink, and the EFI Fiery DFE colour management system, which stands out for its highly accurate and predictable results as well as lower ink costs thanks to the Smart Ink Saving device. It is a solution that helps companies approach Industry 4.0 by integrating digital decoration with the other industrial processes.
