NG Kutahya Seramik begins work on a new factory

NG Kütahya Seramik, one of Turkey’s largest ceramic manufacturing groups, has kicked off a major investment programme that will involve the construction of a new high-end tile factory.
The facility will begin production in May 2017 and will extend over a covered area of 44,000 sq.m. Sacmi will act as lead technology supplier for the new factory, which will have a capacity of 7.5 million sq.m of full-body porcelain tiles produced in 80x80 cm, 60x120 cm, 60x160 cm and 120x120 cm sizes.
With this new investment, Kutahya Seramik will reach a total annual capacity in the tile segment of 33 million sq.m and will have production facilities extending over a total covered area of 270,000 sq.m. The company is well-known in many international markets for the high technical and aesthetic quality of its products and is presenting its latest new products at this year’s Cersaie.
