Nominations open for the TecnAwards 2024

Tecna 2024, due to be held in Rimini from 24 to 27 September, will once again host the awards for excellence in the global ceramic industry.

Following the huge success of the first edition held in 2022, the TecnAwards will be back at Tecna 2024, due to be held in Rimini from 24 to 27 September. One of the highlights of the international exhibition of innovation and research in the surface technology industry, the awards are assigned by Tecna exhibitors to honour the best technological investments made in the last two years by tile, sanitaryware and brick manufacturers.

The TecnAwards 2024 will once again celebrate the ceramic industry’s proven ability to make best use of the innovative technology developed by Tecna exhibitors and to transform it into a competitive lever.

The TecnAwards are one of the many initiatives that reinforce Tecna’s status as a leading trade fair in the sector and highlight its role as a bridge between machinery and equipment suppliers and ceramic manufacturers. The award ceremony, to be held in the afternoon of Wednesday 25 September in the Rimini Expo Centre, will be an important networking event where industry players will gather to celebrate excellence in the ceramic and brick industries.

Four awards will be assigned directly by the exhibitors, who will have the opportunity to nominate their customers for several categories and select the winners. The other category winners will be chosen by the organisers of Tecna, the magazine Ceramic World Review and Italian design firms.

The exhibitors will select the winners of the following award categories:

• “Best new plant (tile sector)”, which will honour the six ceramic companies (one for each geographical region) that have built the best new production plant or modernised an existing one;
   
• “Innovation and sustainability”, which will go to companies that have demonstrated a clear commitment to process digitalisation and efficient data management while reducing the environmental impact of their production processes;
   
• “Best brick manufacturer” and “Best sanitaryware producer”, which will be awarded to companies in the two segments that have excelled in the past two years in terms of business growth and product and process innovation.
