Non-Slip Ink, the new digital ink for non-slip surfaces
Following long-term R&D efforts, Spanish glaze and colour producer Kerafrit has developed and patented a new digital ink called Non-Slip Ink in cooperation with the Ceramic Technology Institute (ITC) of Castellón and System, a leading company in the digital printing system segment.
Unveiled at Cevisama 2017, Non-Slip Ink opens up new opportunities for the development of digitally decorated ceramic surfaces. The ink is able to create technical non-slip materials suitable for both indoor and outdoor use thanks to an extra-soft surface texture that meets all non-slip requirements of the Spanish Technical Building Code CTE (Código Técnico de Edificación).
One of the advantages of Non-Slip Ink is the possibility of using the same tile collection for both interior and exterior floors without any differences in colour and with the same ease of cleaning.
