Nuova Era secures new supply contracts in Brazil, the United States and South Africa
Nuova Era is continuing to supply plants to ceramic companies outside Italy with high levels of production. The Casalgrande-based company controlled by System has secured new supply contracts in Brazil, the United States and South Africa. For Viva Pisos e Revestimentos in Brazil, it installed a plant serving a kiln with an output of 22,000 sq.m/day of 45x45 cm size tiles. This system operates directly without storage units and includes press collection units with connections, three-channel dryer loading and unloading devices, a kiln infeed with two maxi-compensators, a kiln unloading device and a series of connections and accessories. In Oklahoma in the United States, Nuova Era has contributed to upgrading the Daltile Muskogee plant.
The supplied line, for sizes from 15x15 cm to 45x45 cm, includes one Robobox unit for the unfired storage and kiln loading and unloading system, two Robobox units for the fired product storage plant and a series of connections and accessories. Nuova Era's comprehensive, flexible solutions have also been adopted by Norcross in South Africa. The plant purchased by the South African company was purpose-designed to the customer's requirements and serves two kilns with a daily capacity of 8,000 and 10,000 sq.m of single fired tiles in sizes from 20x20 cm to 60x60 cm. The plant is complemented by conveyors and connections between the various machines, as well as two kiln unloading units, two Buffer version Robofloor units and two connection lines complete with accessories.
