The organisational efforts for Cersaie 2013 get into full swing

Some 7 months before the 31st International ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings exhibition Cersaie is due to begin, the show's organisation efforts are under way and producing the first results.

The show has clearly maintained its strong international appeal. By the end of February, more than 97% of the space set aside for the ceramic tile sector (a total of 11 exhibition halls) had been booked, while companies from all over the world had already been placed on the waiting list.

The importance of Cersaie for the bathroom furnishing sector is likewise confirmed by the numbers and the increasingly international profile of exhibitors. Specifically for this sector an exhibition will be organised in 2013 in cooperation with the Industrial Design Association ADI entitled "Bathroom Excellence 1998 - 2012", which will serve to describe product, design and usage innovations in the bathroom sector in recent years.

For the fifth year running, Cersaie's cultural programme Building Dwelling Thinking will be organising a keynote lecture given by a Pritzker Prize winning architect.

Following last year's success, the Tiling City initiative will be back with an even larger demonstration area for the latest floor and wall tile installation techniques. The second edition of "Cersaie designs your home" will offer consumers the chance of free consultation with leading interior design magazines.

The 31st Cersaie will be held in Bologna from Monday 23 to Friday 27 September.
