Qualicer 2010 set to begin
The 11th Qualicer, the biennial world congress on ceramic tile quality, will commence immediately after the end of the forthcoming Cevisama (9-12 February 2010).
Qualicer 2010, to be held on 15 and 16 February at the chamber of commerce in Castellón, will focus on the high level of production achieved by the ceramic industry following the major investments in research and development that have enabled the industry to remain competitive in the global marketplace.
Reports will be given by some of the foremost experts in the sector, chosen from the 160 submitted papers and divided into three blocks:
1. Ceramic enterprises and markets
2. Ceramic tiles and constructions
3. The production process
In block 2, along with the scheduled papers there will also be a selection of project work by architects and experts in the field of constructions performed in accordance with the principles of protection of the environment. For the first time, Qualicer 2010 will not only address theoretical issues but will also feature practical workshops on various themes relating to ceramic production along with concrete examples.
