Royal Ceramica looks overseas and invests in automation

Egyptian company Royal, one of the country's most efficient, high performance and technologically advanced tile producers, is continuing to focus on large sizes and process automation.

A few months ago, two new sorting lines with 10 stackers, complete with automatic palletiser and packaging unit, were tested and started up in the factory located in the El Obour district.

The lines, supplied by NuovaFima (a brand of Sacmi Group company NuovaSima), will be used for the production of tile sizes up to 900x1200 mm. With this latest investment Royal aims to further consolidate its already strong position in the domestic market while at the same time focusing greater attention on export markets.
